Laura was born in Luton, Bedfordshire and began singing from a very young age.  When she was twelve she started singing lessons and attended StageCoach.  Whilst with StageCoach she was chosen to perform as soloist on many occasion at Coventry Catherdral, St Paul's Cathedral and at the Millennium Dome.  When Laura was 17 she was awarded the prize of  'Most promising Singer under 21' at St Albans Music Festival.  

She studied in Cambridge where she gained a BA Hons in Music & Drama.  Whilst there she performed with Anglia Opera and as a soloist with Anglia Chorus.   After graduating she went on to Birmingham Conservatoire where she trained under Rita Cullis.  She came 2nd in both the Ashlean Opera Prize and Birmingham Conservatoire Singer Prize and was a Finalist in Mario Lanza Opera Prize.    

Laura's operatic roles include Rose Maybud Ruddigore, Casilda The Gondoliers, Leatitia Iolanthe, Mabel Pirates of Penzance, Constance The Sourcerer all with Putteridge Bury Gilbert & Sullivan Society, Elvira L'Italiana in Algeri (scenes), Proserpine Psyche both with Birm. Cons., Pamina The Magic Flute (scenes), Susanna Le nozze di Figaro,  Fido the Dog Paul Bunyan with Anglia Opera.

Laura is an experienced concert and oratorio soloist.  Her engagements include Soprano Soloist Coleridge-Taylor Haiwatha with Heart of England Singers, Rossini Petite Messe Solonelle with Sawston Singers, Mazzocchi  Dialogo dell' Apocolisse with Collegium Musicum, Handel Dixit Dominus, Mozart Solemn Vespers, Salieri Te Deum, Handel  Alleluia all with Anglia Chourus.

Concert works include a guest appearance at the CantoFestival 2011 in Amandola, Italy, Proms in the Park-Letchworth and many charity concerts.

Most recently Laura was a Finalist in the Oper Im Berg Festival Opera Competition in Salzburg, Austria and was a Prize Winner at the 'Concorso Internazionale per Cantanti Liric' - Amici Della Musica (The International Opera Singing Competition) in Alcamo, Sicily and was awarded a Bursary from The Rotary Club.  Laura has also been involved with Nestle, Curiously Cinnamon Cereal Viral Ad Campaign.

Laura is a regular busker in the Lower Court Yard in Covent Garden Market and is there most days of the week performing by The Crusting Pipe Pub.

Laura is an experienced singing teacher and vocal coach.  She teaches privately in the Luton area and is also a singing teacher with Greenbanks Music Villiage in Luton. 

Laura is available to sing at weddings, funerals, Private parties/functions and Corporate events. 

Future engagements include a concert at Wardown Park Musuem in Bedfordshire, an Opera Gala at Alford Manor, Lincolnshire and her debut performance with New London Opera Players as Sieglinde in Wagner's Die Walkure.
